I am really not too sure what to do with my life after high school. College is an option but I think college is a bit overrated. Our society I think has leaded us to believe that going to college is a step on the road to success and frankly, I disagree. Don’t get me wrong college can be a way to advance your goals and dreams and help get you on track with what you want to do, but there has simply got to be more to it than that. If someone goes to college for the right reasons then I have no problem with it; if they even attend Christian online colleges I have no problem with that as long as they are there for the right reasons that drive them personally as an individual. What I mean by that is someone who maybe his or her parents forced them into going to college. I think this is wrong and should be handled based on the characteristics and legitimate desires and goals of the individual. I know that in other countries, students have to pass tests and exams to be able to get into colleges or levels of higher education. Unlike in America where it depends on smarts a little bit but also financial contribution. In America there is always an equal opportunity and some people simply choose not to take the college route and they can move on doing something else sustaining and self-satisfying with their life. I think if I got an online master of divinity while keeping my part-time job would do me some good and keep me grounded with what is important to me. So where do I go from here? Well, if no one would judge me on my decision of if I just stopped caring about what other people think of me, I think I will pursue an online Christian degree and follow my passion to serve in the ministry.

Unknown Soldier Scholarships

Not too many students heard of the Society of the Honor Guard
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Scholarships. They are truly in a class of unknown student aid awards that’s for sure.

The Tomb is located in Arlington National Cemetery which is Arlington, Virginia. The cemetery was initially started during the Civil War. The property where the cemetery rests was once owned by Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Since that time, the cemetery has been expanded to some 200 acres. More than 300,000 people are now in the cemetery. That’s a lot of soldiers!

The Unknown Soldier Scholarships gives these awards to members of the Society, or to their dependents that wish to pursue an undergraduate degree, associate degree, or vocational training.
